Installation guide
- Mark the border line and confirm the intended finished height.
- Cut a narrow trench deep enough to support the 90 mm strip while leaving only the required upper edge visible.
- Remove turf, stones and sharp objects that prevent a continuous vertical line.
- Place the edging into the trench and form curves without sharp kinks.
- At a joint, trim approximately 20 mm of the circular edge where required and overlap the strip to create a close connection.
- Use compatible stakes or restraints where the soil, curve radius or application requires additional support.
- Backfill and compact both sides gradually while checking alignment.
- Finish the adjacent turf, soil, gravel or mulch without burying the visible reference edge.
The exact restraint method depends on ground conditions and the accessory system supplied. For tight curves or areas exposed to mowers and frequent maintenance traffic, use closer support spacing and keep equipment away from the exposed edge.
Root-control limitations
This 90 mm landscape strip can help control shallow grass runners and keep surface finishes separated. It is not deep enough to control aggressive bamboo, trees or other deep-rooted plants. Those applications require a dedicated root-barrier design with suitable depth, material and joint details.
