MW-438 38 mm HDPE Gravel Grid for Paths and Verges

MW-438 is a 38 mm HDPE ground-reinforcement grid for gravel paths, pedestrian areas, verges and light-vehicle routes with a correctly designed sub-base. The cellular structure confines the selected fill, helping distribute surface loads while maintaining a permeable finish.

This page is intentionally positioned around paths, verges and gravel reinforcement so it does not duplicate the parking-focused grass-paver pages elsewhere in the product range. Original technical data, installation diagrams and project images are retained.

MW-438 HDPE gravel and grass reinforcement grid

Suitable Applications

  • Pedestrian paths and garden walkways
  • Landscape verges and access margins
  • Gravel routes with occasional light-vehicle use
  • Permeable overflow or low-intensity parking areas, subject to sub-base design
  • Grass or gravel finishes where fill confinement is required

The grid alone does not determine pavement capacity. Subgrade condition, geotextile, aggregate grading, base thickness, edge restraint, drainage and expected traffic must be engineered for the site.

Installation Reference

  1. Excavate to the required formation and prepare a stable, compacted subgrade.
  2. Install separation geotextile and graded sub-base where specified.
  3. Provide a level bedding layer and secure perimeter restraints.
  4. Connect the grids and trim neatly around edges and obstacles.
  5. Fill cells with the specified gravel or soil/grass system and compact appropriately.
