MZ-638 is a 38 mm low-profile HDPE lawn grid for pedestrian routes, landscaped verges and other light-duty reinforced grass or gravel surfaces. Its open cellular structure stabilizes planting media or gravel while maintaining a visually softer landscape finish. The model is intended primarily for footpaths and pedestrian areas, rather than being presented as artificial turf or a heavy-traffic paving product.
Recommended Applications
- Pedestrian paths and garden walkways
- Landscaped verges and lawn edges
- Light-duty grass or gravel routes
- Home and garden surroundings
- Recreation areas with controlled loading
The finished surface can remain permeable when the bedding, base and subgrade also allow water movement. Where the underlying soil has low infiltration, the landscape designer should provide drainage rather than relying on the grid alone.

Installation for Paths and Verges
Remove unsuitable surface soil and compact the subgrade. Install the specified separation geotextile and a graded aggregate base appropriate for pedestrian use. Add a level bedding course, interlock the modules and trim cleanly along kerbs or landscape edges. Fill the cells with the selected gravel or planting mix. For grass, allow the grid ribs to support direct surface wear and maintain the vegetation with suitable watering and mowing.
The original base diagram and installation sequence are retained for reference. The project designer should adjust depths and materials for the actual soil, drainage and climate.
