MZ-650 is a 50 mm HDPE permeable grass paver for residential driveways, car parks, access lanes and reinforced landscape surfaces. Its open cells can be filled with grass-growing media or selected gravel, giving designers a permeable alternative to a fully sealed surface. The interlocking modules help distribute wheel loads and keep the infill from moving when the pavement base is correctly designed and compacted.
Driveway and Parking Applications
- Residential and commercial driveways
- Grass or gravel car parks
- Emergency and service access lanes
- Overflow parking and landscape hardstandings
- Paths, verges and home-garden surroundings
MZ-650 is positioned for permeable parking and driveway projects. It should not be selected from compressive-strength data alone. Traffic frequency, axle loading, turning forces, soil bearing capacity, drainage and the aggregate base all affect field performance.

Installation Build-Up
Excavate and compact the subgrade, install the specified geotextile, then place and compact the graded aggregate base. Add a level bedding layer before connecting the pavers. Cut modules neatly around edges and structures, then fill the cells with clean gravel or a suitable planting mix. For grass, keep the final soil and turf level slightly below the cell tops so tires bear on the grid structure.
The original diagram and installation sequence are retained below. Any generic base depth must be adjusted for the site’s soil, drainage, frost conditions and traffic.
