These water matrix tank modules form a connected underground void for storing or attenuating rainfall. Repeating 0.125 m³ units can be arranged into rectangular or site-specific footprints, helping consultants use constrained space more efficiently than a fixed one-piece tank.

A Structural Matrix for Underground Storage
The moulded PP framework combines low transport weight with internal support for the surrounding fill and cover system. Its repeated geometry makes capacity calculation straightforward: eight modules provide a nominal cubic metre. The project engineer determines the overall dimensions, layer arrangement and permissible loading from site conditions.
Where the System Is Used
Water matrix tanks can serve commercial and residential developments, parkland, sports areas, road drainage and parking projects. With a sealed membrane they store water for controlled discharge or reuse; with a permeable geotextile they can operate as an infiltration structure where soil and groundwater conditions allow.

Installation Principle
Prepare the excavation and structural base to the engineer’s design, assemble the interconnecting modules, then wrap the tank for its intended function. A permeable geotextile configuration supports infiltration; a sealed geomembrane configuration supports storage and reuse. Inlets, outlets, pretreatment, inspection access, ventilation, backfill and cover depth must be specified for the site.
