A rooftop rainwater collection and storage system captures roof runoff, removes debris and sediment, and stores the treated water in a modular underground tank. It gives buildings a practical non-potable water source while reducing the volume and peak rate entering drainage networks.

Roof-to-Tank System Design
The PP modules provide the underground storage volume, while the complete system also requires correctly sized gutters and downpipes, leaf screens, first-flush or filtration equipment, inlet calming, overflow, pump controls and a clearly separated non-potable distribution line. Storage capacity should reflect roof area, local rainfall, demand and available space.
Where the System Is Used
Common reuse applications include landscape irrigation, external cleaning and toilet flushing where permitted. The modular tank can fit beneath landscaped zones or other approved surfaces, freeing above-ground space. Water quality, backflow prevention and maintenance requirements must follow local regulations and the intended end use.

Installation Principle
Prepare the excavation and structural base to the engineer’s design, assemble the interconnecting modules, then wrap the tank for its intended function. A permeable geotextile configuration supports infiltration; a sealed geomembrane configuration supports storage and reuse. Inlets, outlets, pretreatment, inspection access, ventilation, backfill and cover depth must be specified for the site.
