This 0.125 m³ water harvesting module is a building block for custom-size underground rainwater tanks. Eight modules provide a nominal cubic metre of tank volume, allowing designers and contractors to match capacity to the catchment, demand and available excavation rather than order a single rigid vessel.

Building a Tank from Standard Modules
The 680 × 410 × 450 mm unit is lightweight enough for manual handling and connects with matching sections to form tanks of different lengths, widths and depths. Its open internal structure maximizes usable storage space. The system can be configured for rainwater reuse, stormwater attenuation or infiltration, subject to the wrapping system and civil design.
Where the System Is Used
This format is useful for commercial buildings, residential developments, landscape irrigation, parks and other sites where a conventional one-piece tank would be difficult to transport or fit. It also allows the storage volume to be expanded in regular increments during design.

Installation Principle
Prepare the excavation and structural base to the engineer’s design, assemble the interconnecting modules, then wrap the tank for its intended function. A permeable geotextile configuration supports infiltration; a sealed geomembrane configuration supports storage and reuse. Inlets, outlets, pretreatment, inspection access, ventilation, backfill and cover depth must be specified for the site.
